Companion Ridge Kennels is an emerging holistic Poodle breeding program built on a lifetime of veterinary and breeding expertise. While the program is being established, this site functions as a professional resource for dog owners and to provide evidence-informed guidance to help dogs thrive naturally.

Who Am I?

My name is Victoria Barr and I’ve been immersed in the world of dogs since I was born: my parents operated a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic and two dog breeding businesses.

I also developed a professional career in the dog industry, working as a dog groomer, veterinary assistant, and helping to manage one of my family’s breeding operations, Laurel Ridge Goldendoodles.

Currently, I reside in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina with my miniature Poodle, Gina, who is the inspiration for my work.
